Words for When the Dust Settles
If there’s one thing that the coronavirus pandemic has taught us is how much we might have taken in-person interactions for granted. Sure, we’re all used to Zoom sessions by now, but virtual talks can’t compete with actually being with people. We’re starved for the big celebrations that we were so used to having before March 2020 hit, and with events being postponed or canceled altogether, it’s difficult to plan anything.
However, sooner or later, we’ll be able to have large gatherings again, and we’ll have new memories to make. When these events take place, there’s a great chance that speeches will be made, and one thing that a speech presenter will probably mention is how much they missed being in the company of the people with whom they’ve spent time before the pandemic. There will be many words and emotions to share as we express how grateful we are to be together again.
Whether it’s a wedding, anniversary, birthday, charity drive, or corporate event, we’ll experience a reinvigorated enthusiasm for festivities as we set out to celebrate once again. Given how a lot has changed, there will be much to say, and this will be your chance to let your friends and family know how much they really mean to you.
The first major celebration that you attend after the social restrictions are lifted will surely be an excellent time. With that, the words that you share with you audience should make them feel like your relationships are still as endurable as ever, despite having not seen each other in a while.
