(Groom), I couldn’t be prouder to be your best man, and to have the opportunity to talk amongst our guests as we all send you and (wife’s name) off on this new chapter of your lives.  (Groom), you’ve been a brother and best friend to me for 29 years, and I couldn’t be happier that you found someone with whom you can share your life.  It’s safe to say that she’s in good hands if she ever gets into trouble because you will always be there by her side.  You have always been around to have my back, especially all of those St. Patrick’s Days and various celebrations when I needed a shoulder to lean on, and not because I was crying.  Along with Mom and Dad, you were supportive of me when I wanted to make a career change, and the advice that you provided helped me get to where I am today, and I wouldn’t be the person standing right here if wasn’t for your unending love and support.  (Wife’s name), you’re now with one of the most honorable guys in the world, and you’re lucky to have him.  (Groom), you may be starting your new life, but we will always be a part of each other’s.  I’m happy for you and (wife’s name), and I wish you all of the best because you deserve it, and more.
